After over 10 years it’s said that Seven Days To Die is finally leaving early access and is entering 1.0.

No way! I hadn’t looked at that game in my library for years but last night found myself looking at it and thinking it will never see 1.0.

I have never understood the appeal of that janky ass game.

It’s not the same anymore, zombies are less scary, unoptimized, and the theme were changed, this game used to take place somewhere in the 80’s but since they wanna keep it fresh and relevant, they added drone and more modern equipments.

The end of an era. 12 years in “Early Access” for an actively-developed game has to be some sort of record, right?

Damn. I play it all the time on Game Pass. I should have bought it when it was $12 last year, I’m sure it won’t get discounted enough for me for quite some time now.

  6. Joel Huenink has come a long way from begging on the 4drulers forums for money 20 years ago. Proud of ya buddy.

I remember when 7DTD was basically just a shitty voxel clone riding the Minecraft wave.

It really has come a long way since then.

this game is absolutely fun with friends

we play here and then like an occasional minecraft server that would last maybe 2-4 weeks, but my god the performance is abysmal especially during horde nights. i dont think my fps should be that low considering it looks like it shouldnt be graphically intensive

Tarkov is trying to steal its thunder.
