I deal with some systems at malls and you will be surprised at how many stores use windows for such things that would be more ideal to run Linux with.

This here is why I hate Windows. The toggle for this screen, that shouldn’t exist in the first place, is buried in such a nonsensical location that it’s faster to change the registry key manually. It has so many slides that it’s faster to start task manager and blindly run “taskkill /f /im wwahost.exe” than to interact with it.
Windows has been collecting garbage for the past 15 years.

I hope a new os competitor comes out. Microsoft is disgustingly greedy.
Never thought I’d swap to Linux but here we are. Windows 11 shoving pop up ads in your face was the last straw for me. What a joke.

Is Microsoft in control of how and where their operating system is used?
Do people who set up these displays, have any sort of responsibility to configure them correctly?

Showing ads in the OS, even in a fucking mail app that you need to subscribe to 365 to get rid off, AI Pop-ups… Yeah.. I’m glad I don’t use shitsoft 11-fuckup anymore.

I run a batch of registry fixes on every new build. This registry fix is in there.
