This is why a lot of PC building companies are struggling, people are no longer willing to pay $3k-4k for a moderately high end gaming PC and some of them still have inventory from the super overpriced era and only the largest companies can absorb losses from the pricing contraction
Great time to be a buyer, not as good for the sellers, but fuck em, if you can’t run a business understanding the ebb and flow or pricing you shouldn’t be swimming in those waters

Okay, you can’t make a comparison on a special like the one Micro Center is having for the Indianapolis store. Mc is losing hella money, but theyre tryna drive traffic to a new store. They took 20% off of every desktop and laptop. Even if they were already on sale another 20% was slashed off

it’s horribly still not worth it to build one yourself. When everyone was screaming that the gpu crisis was ending, it took another 3 or 4 months in the netherlands for the 2nd hand prices to drop. the only mildly redeeming facts are that ddr4 ram and m.2 ssd’s are pretty cheap rn. Though Coolblue, where OP is looking is just too expensive sometimes.
