It's the first time adventuring in the AM5 world and I'm upgrading from a 5900x with an Aorus Elite. This Mobo will be paired with a 7900x however upon unboxing I noticed one of the pin kinda standing out from the rest. Is it safe to assume this is faulty or am I being paranoid?

It does look like that pin has been *slightly* flattened, but it’s a bit hard to tell even with the closer photos. If you have a mechanical pencil (without lead) or very small flat head screwdriver (precision style, for eyeglasses or similar), you can use the end of it to gently raise it up a smidge so it’s in line with the other pins around it. Won’t take much.
You can get an idea of the relative flatness by sliding a small postage stamp sized piece of paper under that row of pins, makes it easier to see.
I seriously doubt it will stop it from working in any way.
