Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players spent 870 hours completing every shrine and exploring the entirety of Hyrule to create eerily beautiful footprint map

This article is weird. First of all, I finished every shrine, every side quest, and got 100% and it “only” took me about 220 hours, and I’m not a pro gamer by any means. Secondly, the Korok Forest doesn’t have any lines in it because you can’t explore it, if you go the wrong direction, you get kicked out.

Can anyone explain what makes that map eerily beautiful? I was extremely underwhelmed

Doesn’t Hero’s Path only keep about 250 hours?

TOTK is my personal favorite game of all time but who the fuck took this long with the game? I did 3 playthroughs with one 100% run and only played for about 500 hours.

If OP was an actual human being, the post would look like
“Hey guys, look at this dude’s BotW map”
