Is this not almost every game that promises CHOICES MATTER?
Last one I can think of was Dying Light 2….actually like the game though.
Most of the time it feels more like switch the side of the road instead of walking left or right.

Genshin. Cause pretty much every choice you have….
….boils down to…..
this kind of option.

The ending, sure. But how the story goes, not so much. Even the timing of the gigs can be affected such as the gig where you >!convinced the good cop to leave town!<. If you complete that gig without doing the side gigs with the >!Nomads!<,>! either she dies, or just disappears. !<>!You don’t know what really happened to her, but if you did it the “right way” using the right timing, you will see her partying with the Aldecaldos. !<

Cyberpunk players are notorious for complaining that their choices don’t matter. And then complaining later when they realized a choice they had made resulted in consequences they didn’t like.
Maybe all RPG players are like this, IDK.

It is Cyberpunk a lot of the time. The only real big consequence from your actions is just being able to bang someone or not. Maybe a few dialog changes or a character reappearing, but nothing drastic

Other than lifepaths, which are nice but inconsequential other than some dialogue choices/differences, Cyberpunk very much lets you choose the fate of Night city, albeit, from three choices.
Either go with Arasaka and have Saburo “rise” from the grave, Screw over Arasaka with your friends>!or yourself!<, or even unintentionally abandon Night city by >!going with Reed and!< letting the corporations fester
