What are some fun aesthetics from the cyber folks can we expect?
Asian-Neon, a style mixing a blend of different ancient asian fashion with neon and led lights?
Chromecore, the art of having as much metal and as little flesh possible/visible ?
Humancore, the somewhat underground style where one tries to look as natural as possible ?
What are you guys' ideas?

Steampunk will finally hit mainstream, with Victorian fashion with high tech retro gear. So smart phones that are pocket watches, etc.
Living out in a more rural area I sorta hope jackets with neat lines of light built into them would become the norm. I can’t tell you how many people go out for a walk at night wearing a black jacket.
Full goretex and ninja outfit techwear? No.
Clothing with inbuilt properties that make it more suited to the general environment in the ‘techwear’ ethos? Probably also no.
Honestly the trend of clothing in the last hundred years has mostly just become more casual and comfort focused but isnt too unbelievably different, I’d say it’s mostly going to continue to be a lot of plastics and cotton.
I would love to see the cyberpunk rendition of a 2010s era hipster
In 100 years I bet people will still be wearing jeans and a T-shirt.
Techwear for me means as many pockets as possible and a few nice points to clip a carabiner to. I can never go back, it’s incredibly useful.
Personally I’m going to expand upon that and integrate wearables to the clothing that I find useful, including a backpack with some cool tech in it. My goal is functionality, possibly at the cost of traditional “style”. It’ll be bulky and useful.
I don’t see everyone going that route, but that’s a pretty cyberpunk fit to me. Especially if someone is impoverished. You can integrate amenities and storage into your clothing. Some can even be specific to survival.
I can see people wearing stuff lined with signal jamming capabilities in their pockets for their phones. Especially with the way things are going that law enforcement thinking people don’t need privacy. To me it seems more realistic. Because of it people may go back to cable headphones, who knows. But pockets lined so electronics won’t be bouncing around. It will be a thing as portable pc’s become a thing. They’ll get small and the hacking culture will change and adapt to that. It already has since Flipper Zero came about.
I love this question and think about it a lot because I just moved to Florida and am curating a wardrobe that won’t suffocate me in this heat and humidity. I love techwear but in this climate the black and the layers ain’t it lol.
I’ve been adding elements of techwear that add that classic utility. I also have been adding brighter colors and tropical themes to fit my new home and quite honestly my personality. I am adding space themes and vaporwave themes.
Thinking about the future, climate change, resource depletion, and habitat destruction are going to dictate how we dress ourselves. Clothing will need to be adaptable to accommodate fluctuating temperatures. Breathable fabrics with UV protection. We’re going to have to stop using plastics at least as we know them.
I’m personally really interested to see how fast fashion vs rising need for durability plays out.
I’ve started buying tech wear and adding it to my wardrobe. Not because I think it looks futuristic, it’s just different. I’m tired of everyone dressing the same and all of it is just terrible.
Whatever tired rags they can find on the street. Literal hides of sewer rats, hides of corpo 1% scum that are caught showing off their fancy tech wear in one of those kitanitoshi clubs that let them feel edgy near the poors, and also those clothes they brought down…
Tbh if it comes anytime soon I’ll probably still be wearing my adidas track jacket and sweatpants every day lol
