Hey guys,

I just bought a gaming PC with a i7-14700F CPU, ran a few tests on UserBenchmark and came back with below expectations on the CPU. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/67720099

I also ran on CB2024, which also gave very subpar results.

Any ideas why?

Thank you in advance

Because it’s userbenchmark, they tend to over exaggerated intel and Nvidia scores because they don’t like AMD so they literally artificially boost the scores.

I guess it’s power limited. The default power limit in BIOS is set very low, at least for ASUS. Though enabling XMP will automatically increase the power limit in some cases. Check your cpu power settings in BIOS for the long duration and short duration. If it’s limited to intel default 65W long and 219W short, your 14700 will only running at 2.1G base speed after 96 seconds of load.
