I still find clips on youtube regarding insane details of RDR2. It is quite insane how for does the game go in making the world feel alive.

My dad (~65yo) recently started gaming. It’s been so fun to watch him slowly master the controller and experience amazing games for the first time.
A while ago I walked downstairs and saw him playing Red Dead Redemption 2. He was just slowly riding his horse around an open field at night. After a few minutes I asked him what he was doing, and he lit up with a huge grin and said, “just riding my horse, looking at the stars, and howling at the moon.”
Something about it really hit me. How many games do you know that allow you stop and smell the roses? Red Dead is something special.

I have it in my Steam Library but I need to play it, so I will find time to start, can’t wait to see what is this game all about. 🙂

Can’t play this damn game. Bought it on Epic and it won’t launch. If you go to the Rockstar support page heaps of others have this issue. None of the fixes online or on YouTube work either.

I stopped playing after chapter 2. You can’t even bump into another character without a fight breaking out. So stupid.

I remember as the sun was going down in the outskirts of valentine I just walked around a ranch and watched the cowpokes loiter round, smoke and then stroll off toward the main house as the lanterns were lit, there was one young guy sitting in the top of a barn just watching the scene.
It was nice. The next day I massacred the town, but that was nice.

I tried to start plying several times, it’s boring as hell. I just can’t handle the boredom and slowness of this game.

In the next farm over, inside one of the sheds, you’ll find a guy who reeaally loves chillin with sheep, plus a wedding ring.
