After always having a wired keyboard from a gaming brand (Logitech and Razer) in full format, I wanted to move on to something smaller and also capable of being wireless.
Royal Kludge M75 + Epomaker Cidoo v21.
Why switch to compact if it is to add 1 numpad next to it ? Because sometimes I want more space for my mouse and I just have to move the numpad.
I'm really in love with this compact layout (and having kept the functions and arrows keys) for the keyboard. The independant numpad is really a pros.

Even better idea: make a keyboard with the num pad attached
Well aren’t you a fancy fella with your plethora of USB ports!
Where can you get the numpad? In the UK I cannot find a rgb numbpad anywhere for under £100
I just wonder what might be your usual dumping spot for the numpad? Do you just sling it below your display or what?
I might consider a bigger table at this point and normal keyboard xD
It´s not a compact it´s an exploded layout.
I do the same thing. I keep the number pad up under the monitor usually. But if I have to put in a bunch of numbers, I move it down where I can reach it.
So instead of a small wireless, or a normal wired, you now have two wired devices with clashing design with a larger footprint than one full keyboard for half or third the price.

Swap the numpad position to the other side
Wtf is this
I just bought a wireless numpad of aliexpress for 5€. I just use it when I WFH 1 or 2 days a week. It does the job, rest of the time it is not on my desk.
I’m a huge fan of modular setups! This is cool 🙂
70% + 30% Keyboard 💀
JUST. GET. A. FULL. SIZED. KEYBOARD?
I use my numpad far too often to ever think of having it separate or gone.
Having a seperate numpad is my dream. Mostly becuase I use numpad like 0.1% of the time.
Lol i thought u were trolling but no you’re dead serious 😂
Put the 10key on the left and youve got new macro pad while gaming.
96% gang
So many people here with zero imagination. No, this is not the same as a full size keyboard. Try and imagine that people have use cases for removable numpads, even if you don’t.
weak. real power users have a single wired board for each key
Don’t listen to them OP. I understand your logic and I respect it.
I had a TKL, but missed the num pad.
Added a num pad, and hated it.
Eventually just got a KeyChron V6 100%…happy.

Create a problem and sell a solution, genius stuff.
For real though, having the numpad on left side is a gamechanger personally and finding a fullsize board like that is pretty difficult.
This has to be satire
I do this, but put the numpad on the left.
Works better for war thunder radar, and farm sim aux controls
I actually prefer two independent numpads for gaming, one for movement and the other for camera/ action controls
Using a 60% and a 12 key numpad, but I put mine up top because I still need my mouse space. Use it for playing tracks, screenshots,Nvidia Shadowplay, performance overlay and even muting and disconnecting from a Discord call.
All while keeping my mouse space
Personally I’d put the numpad on the left
Finally. The legendary double knob setup.
I have a G915 TKL and then a numpad for when I want one.
Praying for the day a good touchpad comes modular like this.

The best part you could put it on the left or the right
Idk how anyone can use a keyboard without a numpad. It just feels wrong. Every time I sign into windows I use my numpad. Anytime I use numbers I use the numpad.
