Hello I tried googling a lot before posting, but couldn’t find any help for my specific problem.
First tried to overclock my pc by doing gpu, cpu, ram (in that order). After I was done, I looked up my motherboard and found out for some reason some brands override settings that could limit your CPU’s performance. So I decided to tweak it with this video: https://youtu.be/pbRauc8gpQM?si=SXtmhECazn40IyEY
And so I did, more and more till it was too much and my pc didn’t turn on again. Already tried CMOs battery, bios flash, bios reset.
My set up is:
CPU: e5 2697 v4
Motherboard: asus X99-A
Attached video, all it does when I press the power button there’s a little smoke coming off from the top part of the motherboard
Issue seem to be originated by the DIGI+ Power Contro, EPU
Any ideas how can I fix it?
Already contacted the tech who sold it to me, and I’m waiting to get the money to maybe buy a new one. (Would prefer not to :/
