I preferred elixirs in BO4. At least you have access to them all at once instead of cycling through them one by one.

The only problem with Gobblegums are the bastards who left public lobbies mid-game due to the dashboard glitch. In every other way, they added to the game, making things much easier for newer players, or just making things more fun in general, while not being necessarily to make it far in the game. Really hope the leaks are true

Prefer elixirs as it won’t need Dr Monty to return and it may lead to Chaos coming back. Both would be great to change up how we play.
I think a cool change to gobblegums would be if instead of randomly spinning for gums, you can save up in game currency (liquid divinuim) then pick and choose which gums you want. Obviously the rarer/more op gums cost more.
Highly unlikely, but definitely more player friendly.

I absolutely hope this whole system burns and it doesnt get added at all, i prefer what cold war did with upgrades with progression and no “consummables” at all
I know alot of people hated them but i loved them added so many new ways to play and keep the game fresh i enjoyed them much more than elixirs which took up too many buttons

Idrc either way, rarely bothered using them. Though if they do, need to fix the people leaving mid game to save them.

it would be a nice callback to older CoDs. but it’ll probably be P2W & difficult to get. they can be quite OP to an already OP perk & field upgrade system.
Really didn’t mind them except for the two most OP ones, round robbin’ and power vacuum
They’re fun to use but they break the game a fair bit.
If they had a ranked mode or classic mode something excluding any of these they’d be fine to leave in the game
