One of these things is a stupid overhyped money sucking scheme from people who would let the world burn for turning a profit, and the other is some sort of digital currency.

I just hope they improve the power connector. If the 5000 series end up being more power hungry they will struggle with that fragile 12v connector.

+AI development will affect gpu prices.
+Earthquake in Taiwan can affect chips prices.

  4. Ethereum mining is not a thing anymore. Chill.

Considering BTC hasn’t been mined on GPUs in ~6+ years, they aren’t related

It’s not surprising that a significant number of people are starting to dislike Nvidia. Here in the country where I live, the RX 7900 GRE costs exactly the same as an RTX 4070

It wont be as bad this time.

You could always buy some crypto now and sell it at the end of the year or early next.

This will counter any price increases due to crypto mining.

Use the problem to solve the problem

Hoping my gtx 1070 will survive 4 more years at this point ☠️😅

Bitcoin miners rarely use GPUs. Ethereum uses proof of stake, so no GPUs. I would be more concerned with AI applications using up GPUs

Please, Next-gen Pascal for the Playstation 5 era with affordable midrange card.

Remember when the 2013 flagship Titan 6 gb(more like gtx 790 series) and 2014 gtx 970 3.5 gb got easily replaced by the 2016 Nvidia Pascal equivalent with midrange class pricing (GTX 1060 6gb, Radeon Rx 480/580).

Affordable midrange gpu recommendation to get 60 fps+

    Playstation 3: 1gb VRAM Nvidia Fermi 2010-2012 with DirectX11

    PS4: 4 gb 2016 Nvidia Pascal equivalent and above. DX12 windows 10

PS5: probably above 12 gb or 16 gb. RTX 5060/ RX 8600 series year release
