As a noob who played this primarily offline, the railgun and the homing missile were my favourites.

The best Quake Game, sadly the Focus on the live service Quake champions shit wont let the much overdue “Doom treatment” of the Game

I spent over 1200 buck to better play this game, buying 4 3dfx voodoo 2 SLI cards so I could put one set in my machine at work to LAN there, and one set at home so I could be an HPB and still get some frags in when kicked out of the office. Fun stuff.

Chaos Mod on 1997 GameSpy was the shit.

Played for the first time on switch thanks to nightdive.

I remember downloading mods, skins, and maps for Q2. Playing LAN games after work. Nothing like seeing Santa gib Bart Simpson only to get snipped by Frosty seconds later. Good times.

Man, my 28.8 modem and shit computer could barely handle that game. I could tell it was a really fun game, but could hardly access the content. Best slideshow I’ve ever played.
Tribes 1 came out a year later and ran like a charm on my machine. Been playing online FPS off and on ever since then.

Quake II Rail Gun. My favorite FPS weapon of all time.

One of the games that dominated my PC game time in the late 90s, along with others like Heretic 2 and Starcraft. Then enjoyed revisiting it via the Xbox 360 bonus included with Quake 4, which I still pop in here and there for nostalgia.

After playing the original Quake, I was so unbelievably disappointed by this game.
Probably the biggest gaming disappointment of my childhood.
Shit, it still hurts.

This post reminded me I have a Sealed copy of quake 1 for PC, should I open it?
