I got this game immediately when it came out, completing the game within the first 3 days.
I played it on and off here and there before switching to a new account on my PS4 and playing it there back over a year ago when I finished the campaign once again and got all the skins I wanted.
A week ago, during the Spring sale, I bought every single Add-on this game had, including the DLCs, and today, I finally beat the entire game.
I'm not a 100%er, I love Doom, I collected all the secrets, but I won't be getting all the trophies or achievements in the game because I enjoy it for what it is. I'm not going to drain the fun out by completing everything.

Rip and Tear!
That soundtrack is so insanely good. So refreshing to play a shooter that rewards moving instead of cover
KAR EN TUK!
One of the most awesome games ever created. Just sheer fun. Pure f***** metal.
I don’t usually spend much time doing extracurriculars in games like this, but Doom Eternal was so good that I actually hugely enjoyed finding all of the trials and collectables and such in the base game. Some of the trials were nuts, but man it was satisfying to finish them all.
Someday I’ll go back and complete the DLCs. They’ve been sitting in my to-do list for ages now.
Only reason I never got 100% trophies is I just didn’t want to do multi-player. Can’t imagine the multi-player scene is super active these days, either.
Wasn’t even because the multi-player was bad, even. I did a couple of matches. It’s just uneven PVP doesn’t appeal to me. Didn’t like Evolve, don’t like Dead by Daylight, etc. Just not my scene.
The base campaign was incredible. Once you get hot swapping down to really shred high HP enemies, the flow of the gameplay is an adrenaline rush few other games really pull off.
