Saw this browsing through my old photos and figured I’d post it for fun.
Most of my money was going towards college expenses but I really wanted to build a rig to play Overwatch with my friends.

Found the CRT in a family member's garage and got the case on sale. Got most of the other parts used off Craigslist.
Wasn't the prettiest build in the world but it sure brought me a ton of joy!

Loving the CRT! Just an honest and true budget build. Nothing extravagant or crazy. Man just wanted to play games. I like it.

I thought I was clinging to the past when I hung onto my 19″ CRT monitor until like 2007… Everybody was switching to flat panel LCD’s in the 2000’s but it was new and the quality of the display wasn’t as good yet.

My G had a CRT
You have 1 advantage though with CRT, it’s simply faster than LCD, that’s why smash players will WALK MILES for one of these babes.
