The front panel is cute, but I imagine it would get old fast. I also imagine it’ll typically only stay in the open or closed position, so it’s really a non-issue if you like it.
The front panel is a pretty interesting novelty, but that’s all it is unfortunately.
There’s no scenario in which having it closed makes sense.
Even if you want the PC to be quiet, you’ll get better results by having the vents wide open and just slowing the fans down; if you close the vents, the fans will have to spin *faster* to keep the system cool, and that will result in *more* noise.
Which subsequently is the exact reason I got rid of my Fractal Design Define R6. Yes it was a quiet case, with noise dampening etc… but the solid front panel was dumb, and the PC was quieter with it open. But having it open all the time looked stupid. (On the R6 it’s just a simple door).

The build would look 1000x better if the rainbow ram was a different colour, and you fixed the blinking cpu cooler.
