I used to play games at 480p on a dual core, dual thread laptop with intel hd graphics (later on, I had a dual core four thread laptop with intel uhd graphics). I don’t miss those days.
The ironically is happier than high end gamers is acurate

My only handicap is my 1050. My 1080 died two days ago😭

I thought I need an upgrade then I downloaded User Benchmark, and found out my RAM is working on 2400 instead 3200, and CPU is not in boost mode. Now RAM is working in dual channel mode on 3200.
Got all the praise on User benchmark test, saying it’s nuclear submarine and what not.
I never felt that my PC is slow. Now I don’t feel it’s faster.
Interestingly, I could OC 4060.. But I don’t want to.

Only modern games i play are sonic frontiers, gta v and crash n sane/crash 4, i dont care. I love old games

I find it so funny when my friend with a 3060 cries about dropping a few frames on certain heists in payday while I’m happy with my solid 40fps average 720p medium settings with a GT 730

Had a roommate until last year that was rocking 7000 hours of Dota 2 on a Laptop with ~20 FPS average, dude was just chilling like “Yea I like the game”. Some people are just vibing like that and I’m all for it.

I don’t see “learns overclocking”, “debloated windows” also you have the “DRM/anticheat-free games that perform better, let alone client-free gaming” justification for piracy.

I was and would still be fine as a low end gamer if Cyberpunk and Control didn’t exist, they are just too good, and once i experienced high frames, ultra quality and oled, I can’t go back. I can still play other games at minimum 75 fps but if it never drops a single frame below.
