Ubisoft has been doing this forever. I don’t know who the first publisher to “charge” for early access was, but obviously people have shown they have no patience and will pay to play. Ubisoft has traditionally rolled this early access into their season pass editions of the game. So that means you’re paying for the DLC and not so much the early access.
Buying DLC before it’s even announced is stupid. Hell, buying games before they’re launched and reviewed is stupid. If you have any type of awareness of the game industry, you know you should wait for a few months of patches to buy a game.
Be a patient gamer. Hell, you’ll even get a discount for waiting to play the game after they’ve released all the content and made whatever fixes they’re capable of doing.
I had no interest in playing another Ubisoft garbage, but now I’m not gonna buy it even more! 😀

Couldn’t we just not buy it for 70 or 110 dollars and instead buy it a few weeks later for 40 because nobody bought it.
It’s just cosmetics, I’ll buy the base version.
