this just makes me wish for a game that’s sorta like No Man’s Sky (featuring planetary exploration) that also has something like this for the interplanetary flight portion.
Why is a super-feature-dense galactic-exploration-and-vibing sim so much to ask for?

This is a very ambitious project, lots of ideas made by a single dev (for now at least lol)
100% worth backing on kickstarter lol

When Paramount shut down the enterprise D navigatable virtual model I cursed them because that could’ve been the basis for a game like this.

Were you searching for Starship Troopers and saw this as top result too? It caught my eye in my search this morning and have been playing it for hours now.

Thatâs my soundtrack! (Iâm Fleetyardâs composer)

Such a great game concept. I downloaded the demo but have yet to play it. I heard itâs gonna be VR compatible and I got a headset.

This is what Star Trek Online should have been, instead of a shallow showcase for fanfiction.

It seems very, VERY ambitious. I am excited, but only cautiously so. We’ll see what happens and what the ETA is.

Really looking forward to this one. Love the exploration and teamwork… Plus VR! I loved Star Trek Bridge Crew and this will be so much more!

Already looks 1000x better than star citizen!

This actually looks really good! But I still donât really understand the main goal.. is it to manage your ship? Explore? I donât see any combat⊠so is it a friendly universe? đ
I almost feel like FTL is still the prime example of really making you feel captain of the ship. FTL combined with the âwalking around the shipâ of the mass effect series would be awesome. But donât think this is anywhere near.
But does really peak my interest!

I was previously a tester / qa for this game.
Yes, it’s awesome and well worth a look.

Maybe it’s the current state of gaming that has me cautious, but this looks to good to be true.
In case you didn’t know this is being devloped by a single person and he is talking about adding planetary cities and aliens and procedural generation for events. The type of thing that was promised with games like No Man’s Sky and they had Sony’s backing…
I wish the developer all the best but until I see it, I’m not sure it’ll actually happen.

So I’ve played the demo and watched all these gameplay videos and developer vlogs, but honestly I’m worried about this game.
Maybe my expectations are just not aligned with the goals of the project.
But the problem I’m seeing now is that the game mechanics are super technical and amazingly in depth, but I feel like they aren’t very cinematicly focused.
What I mean by that is that if I’m playing this game while in depth is great, I don’t want a job simulator all the time.
Because lets face it, if we’re like battling aliens or something and I’m sitting there at an electrical screen tediously re-routing electrical stuff, that might not be as much fun.
And the crew is going to need to react accordingly to red alerts and stuff. The zombies roaming around now probably won’t cut it. I want to see them frantically running around and trying
I think that the mechanics will need to strike a balance somewhere, and I’m worried from the Demo that it’s not going to strike that cinematic balance that’s needed for longevity of the average gamer.
But then again, it’s a simulator so maybe that’s the point, but I think the target audience of literally living on a ship as a game doing your job might be a bit small outside of hardcore roleplay groups.

This looks already impressive and quite promising, but I’m not getting my hopes up too high (as have we all, I’ve been burned too often for that). Looking forward to trying out the demo!

Please bring this to console if at all possible please

Backing this on Kickstarter is a no-brainer! Demo has some serious potential. Let’s get that intergalactic vibe going!
