Sadly support ended today expect prices to go up and the fact it sold low numbers fucks it even worse…..

I think you misunderstand how value works. The prices are high because it didn’t sell well. There isn’t much physical stock that exists.

I got all the Wii U games like $20 each back in the day when no one wanted them, I knew this would happen

Low sales numbers = high rarity. I think that Wii U copy of BotW is actually a steal compared to where it will end up.

lol, you thought Wii U titles were jacked up? Same shit happened when Sega Saturn and Dreamcast stopped being sold in the U.S. market.

Im confused about the hand sign, like why

  7. Short life cycle. Low sales and production. Nintendo ‘s first fully HD console, making it have long legs for interest in playability. An actually interesting kit of hardware too.

Lots going on to make it a target for collectors. I’m glad I scooped up a bunch of games for it when it was in stores. My kids are playing it regularly.

LOL, how is the Twilght Princess worth more than Breath Of The Wild?

  9. Actually if you think about it, low sales will drive rarity and actually make some of this stuff collectable and worth something some day. 🤔

Lowest selling console with low quantity of games available.

Those are all first party Nintendo titles from flagship franchise; always collectable and always valuable.

Have you ever heard that scarcity increases prices?

This is a perfect Economics 101 question.

Whoever priced them doesn’t know shit.

I think that’s why they are high. There’s not a lot of them out there, and now that most people have offloaded their WiiU stuff if they didn’t want it, most of it is in the hands of collectors who know the value.

It makes sense for a niche Nintendo console, just look at the virtual boy. Nintendo always sells well, even when its its worst selling product originally.

Can’t believe it only sold 13millipn. But tbf it didn’t improve much from the Wii 🤷‍♂️

Another reminder that almost every remastered game that came out on the WiiU has been rereleased on the Switch. Except my favorite Zelda game of all time. Thanks OP. We may never see The Wind Waker HD on Switch, and it makes me sad.
