Can anyone who knows about cheats and anti-cheat explain why valve can't just write code to detect if a player for example hits 20 bhops in a row there account gets flagged and reviewed or if they move too quickly and shoot bullets too fast, like would it be that hard?
With my friends (30 ppl) we rented our own server and we play 5v5 matches everyday on old ported maps from 1.6 ,source, csgo . Nobody cheating everyone knows eatch other..such a fun playing like this. We need to bring back communities for cs2.
Nothing should be discussed until they seriously address cheating – it'll eventually kill the casual player base. And for 20k elo, no one plays premier anymore, they are hacks vs hacks servers now. Everyone semi-competitive has moved to faceit.
In the South African CS community with a very small playerbase the number of cheaters to legit players is just sad. I honestly hope CS decide to add a working anticheat…
Sad truth everyone has to accept…cheaters pay for prime, buy skins, buy cheats, get banned and do it all over again…an average non-cheater buys prime once and that's it…maybe some low rent skins…but then he's done with the paying aspect of CS…
Unless CS gets a monthly subscription, the devs have no real inclination to work on the anticheat system…
Where does that leave us? Accusing everyone and everything of cheating every single game…So …what I would ask from Valve is a less restricting voting system for a surrender so that you can surrender after the (let's say 3. Round when you and your team are 100% sure there's a cheater on the other team)…nowadays people are doing this anyways by first kicking one player and surrendering so it's not like it's not happening
I understand that having cheaters is inevitable, what I don't understand is how they are able to teleport and shoot 300 bullets per second. The server is trusting the client packets too much for some odd reason, might it be to reduce server costs or something else. It shouldn't be like that. Also the solution is not getting a kernel anti-cheat, they can bypass that aswell, although is more difficult. Check Unity Research's video if you want to know more
I played a lot at the start and started to play a bit again and I don't think I have ran into cheaters playing in EU around 1.5k-3k, The main issue I have is people leaving the match like the other day my friends first game on CS2 after I have been saying he needs to play it was a game that was 4v5 from the start. Still I would like more to be done to help people who are getting in matches with cheaters and so it doesn't put people off playing. I would also love bots to be better so workshop maps can be played and you can actually 'practice' a little bit as sometimes I just want to play a community map and chill but still have a little bit of a challenge
i wonder about the trust factor, if it even still exists at all. i would love to be able to see a rough approximation of it when i play. sometimes i feel like my trust factor is very low as i get cheaters or very unfriendly teammates in a row and the very next day i get very nice and talkative lobbies without cheaters at all. im very confused about it
cs2 has been a really bad joke so far. Seeing the dev "interactions" we've had so far, like that McDonald dude completely dismissing a gamebreaking bug until we all saw it in the major, it's obvious the devs couldnt care less about this game. Im glad cs2 released so i could stop wasting my life on this crap. Havent touched it since then.
Stopped playing premier a month Ago due to the feeling of increased number of cheaters, came back yesterday to get xp for my case drop and met 2 spinbotters my first game. EU matchmaking is unplayable right now, i can Imagine theres less cheaters in for ex NA servers
Ey, i got a hottake. Danger zone was one of the best additions to csgo. I know i know, its heracy. But its the only gamemode officially added that ACTUALLY changed up the game. Its the only mode that wasnt just Ct vs T on a pre existing map with all the same gamemechanics. Danger zone brought new and unqiue mechanics to the game and it actually pushed the devs to make NEW content instead of just releasing the same map over and over again. Danger zone + the operations was the best time ive had in csgo. Pleeeease valve add danger zone back
Every time me and my friends suspect someone of cheating we go back later and watch the demo Most of the time we are right, but it really helps to know for sure.
No intrusive AC on launch is actually a massive joke, biggest L ive ever seen from valve. Splitting the playerbase between premier, competitive and faceit is not good, premier should be the only choice.
I get that mr12 was supposed to make things more manageable, but watching the grand final of the major only be a bo3 was so disappointing. It only lasted like 2 hours
I hope Valve adds back the ability to just boot up a workshop map and invite my friends, I can't do it anymore without having to either Port Forward my IP or use Hamachi, it used to be easy to warm up together on maps
A loooooot of people claim cheaters when there isn't actually any. In all ranks. It's easier to say someone is cheating, than admit they are just better.
I get accused of cheating every other game, and I've only ever played against cheaters 3 times since cs2 came out. I really want an operation with fun stuff to do, not just a battle pass.
hqven't played in weeks. premiere is pitiful with cheaters, competitive put me in silver, faceit servers too far. This game is finished for me unless a better AC is rolled out
I think that once the playercount goes down enough, they will release a huge update. If they do it now, they will have nothing for future updates. Give them a bit more time.
I played CS since 1.6, shortly before the release of CS Source. Since CS2 came along I lost interest in the game almost completely. Back then I played every day for at least 2 hours. Now I rarely even start it up and when I do I play like one game and turn it off afterwards. I talked to a lot of guys who played CS even longer than I did and almost all of them stopped playing since CS2 release.

Skibidi Toilet in CS2?
Dying. You will face the same fate as Team fortress, Left for dead and Half life.
Loving the piano
VAC = Valve allows cheaters…

CS2 is making too much money. The decision making is done by people who haven't touched a game in their entire life. That's why progress is so slow

what's next for CS2? Uninstalling it.
Stopped playing premier a month Ago due to the feeling of increased number of cheaters, came back yesterday to get xp for my case drop and met 2 spinbotters my first game. EU matchmaking is unplayable right now, i can Imagine theres less cheaters in for ex NA servers
What if Valve will add taxes to the long matches to balance the economy? How are you people gonna avoid them in that case?
i hate how cheats evolved in cs2
played my first wingman match and dude on the enemy told me not to kill him to show me his rapid fire famas cheat

How to fix cs2? Delete it and bring back csgo
Movement needs to be fixed. Almost impossible to hit a bhop now. Not even talking about window hops in mirage
Every time me and my friends suspect someone of cheating we go back later and watch the demo
Most of the time we are right, but it really helps to know for sure.
All they did was add shaders, remove 70% of the game, remove anti cheat, add crashes, and then call it a new game
i just uninstalled it because it stopped connecting to official servers for the last few months.
I just want it to run better on the steam deck. Csgo ran great. Cs2 barely walks
I just want Danger zone back.
90% of matches above 18k have a cheater in the lobby
I’ve never had a cheater in valorant. That’s the only reason I switched over

Alright Valve, you hear Phillip it's time for an update!!
we need cs2 skibidi toilet
I can't play Premier at all, every game for the last 15 matches had minimum 3 cheaters in it.
I hope Valve adds back the ability to just boot up a workshop map and invite my friends, I can't do it anymore without having to either Port Forward my IP or use Hamachi, it used to be easy to warm up together on maps
hope cs3 will be better

Valve please fix!
A anti-cheat

Where are the other maps 🙁 game is so stale already.

Give them a bit more time.
Valve should firstly get to the point where CS:GO ended content wise then we can talk about new stuff.
I just want demolition mode, pleaze
Deep down I still hope CS:CO gonna happen…

I think CSGO was also full of cheaters. It's just that the cheats are very clever so almost nobody notices.
Fix vac and overtime should swap sides and im happy
