Hello!

I'm considerably new to overclocking / undervolting. I mean, the last time I did it you had like 3 settings to adjust in the BIOS. Now it's a whole new level!

First off, here's my build:

Intel i9 14900KF

ASUS ROG Strix z690-E

Corsair Vengeance DDR5 16GB x 4 CL16 6200MT/S

Corsair RM850x PSU

Cooler Master ML240R AIO

Corsair 4000X Case

I've followed the first part of this guide to the point where my current settings are:

XMP I (but down to DDR5-5600MHz as I could not get it to be stable above that)

MCE: Remove All Limits

LLC: 4

DC_LL: 1.02

AC_LL: 0.3

With those set I have a pretty stable\* system: OCCT CPU / Memory stability tests run to completion without errors or crashes, and so does Cinebench R23.

\: Linpack crashes often but from what I read online, Linpack is extremly stressfull and there's no real need to make it pass.*

So, the problem is that my CPU temps reach 100C whenever the load increases a little (while benchmarking or regular PC use), which causes Thermal Throttling.

Is it possible to get my temps down at least to the point where I don't get thermal throttle anymore?

I'm also wondering whether there's something wrong with my AIO. Is it normal for it to not be able to avoid temps reaching 100C even though I did not overclock (apart from MCE: Remove all limits of course)?
