finally found a monitor arm that will hold this up (49” Samsung G9T) but doesn’t cost as much as the Ergotron HX. From a UK store called ‘gostand.co.uk’ for about £100. Also updated the speakers to Kanto YU2. Ditched my Jabra 410 for work calls and will manage with the C920 microphone and YU2 speakers. PS5 is mainly there for the wheelstand on the right with GT7 and PSVR2. The MBA having the USB ports only on one side is really annoying me so when its time to replace I’ll try and push my company to let me have a MBP just so I can flip it around and have the logo pointing this way rather than the stupid feet 🙂
Monitor light bar works surprisingly well for a non-curved one as its mainly for lighting the desk area which it does without glare.
Desk is a pretty basic Ikea surface on a Flexispot base, with some alex drawers on the left mostly full of 3D printer tools and lego.
I haven’t yet tried pulling the monitor forwards for Assessto Corsa – normally I use VR but its something I’ll experiment with.
