What were they just climbing around a heap of boxes in the back like a jungle gym? rip, hope the refund process is fast and safe
Beardedpistachio
It looks kinda like, if I can’t have it, then no one can
SoDrunkRightNow2
When you order from Amazon there’s an option to put the box in another box.
(it might only be for prime members and there might be other restrictions) but if you ever order anything worth over a hundred bucks or anything that can be easily broken or damaged by rain, you should definitely use that option.
Safi103
thats tuff man, looks like something pierced all the way through everything to the card, hope you get this fixed asap
TankYouBearyMunch
It looks like mofo deliberately axed it. It is normally damn hard to damage GPUs like that with all the foam around.
TimeGhost_22
The giving of shits failed to occur.
Big-Soft7432
Thankfully Amazon is usually pretty good with their return process. Still feels bad though.
Oseirus
That started out looking “Yikes, but the card is probably okay” and then progressed steadily towards “what the actual metric fuck did they do to that thing”.
Seeleybeast84
The boxing machine in the distro center has done that. Rough but they’ll refund you no problem
PixelHavenGG
Good thing amazon has a no questions asked exchange and return policy huh
VoidLookedBack
whatever hit that had some serious speed.
K_Lelouch
Bro was shot by an armor piercing bullet and used ur gpu to block it.
LitanyOfContactMike
Ayyyyy that sucks, hope Amazon doesn’t give you any hassle returning it.
BetaTestedYourMom

stan00311

shortass12321
If I were to have a guess… That’s pierced off forklift pallet forks.
SteelGrayRider2
Sorry, this sucks. Glad you documented it very well. Should be an easy return to get a new one from Amazon
qu38mm
holy fk dude. they jump on it. smh.
DrKingOfOkay
If I saw the box like that, I wouldn’t even have opened it.
Boboar
There’s a lot of really stupid guesses in the comments. As someone who worked in the industry, I can say almost for certain what happened. A very heavy package fell, and either a corner or an edge landed directly onto OPs package, and it went through it like a pickaxe.
NotBoredApe
posts like this is why I always buy from local hardware shops, not worth the risk of getting scammed or broken like OP’s did
Ghostofghostface420
Was the box destroyed too?
Ghostofghostface420
That fucking sucks. I’m sorry I’m currently locking up parts to build my PC and I’m thinking if I should just drive to Tustin and buy it from Micro Center in person to deal with this, I hope you get your money back.
