I wonder how this effects how we see fps. Like for me if I compare 60fps to 144fps I instantly notice a massive difference and find 144fps so much better, not just in fast paced games but even in slower games. Just panning the camera in a turn based game feels insane levels better than 60fps. I will happily sacrifice graphics for higher fps.
But on the flip side I know people who cannot tell the difference between even 30fps and 60fps. I’m curious if that’s because they’re so used to 30fps or because their eyes process it different or something.
