Aren’t they all gay games? Isn’t that kinda the point besides the supernatural stuff.

  2. Hope SE knows that their main audience is queer people

  3. xxthebeast9

Definitely, SE better not forget the queer gamers. It’s all about that gay game after all.

How much of this is misinterpretation? I could easily see them just meaning that it isnt the primary focus of the game.

i suppose that’s fair. it’d be nice to get a starring gay romance in an RPG as opposed to the average starring straight romance. but this is Square Enix, they could’ve had Cloud Strife hit on dudes too if they wanted him to. kinda hard to distinguish itself as “not-the-gay-game” in a character-driven visual novel or whatever LiS is

  6. TwilightExcretion

    It’s their main selling point.

Pretty much dominates any conversation in the end these days when it comes to a characters sexual orientation.

  7. RegFuckMyPussy

LiS is literally the posterchild LGBT game.

  8. I_Heart_Sleeping

All my gay friends love life is strange. It’s literally THE gay game. Square doesn’t even understand its own audience.

?¿¿??¿?¿? didin’t they play the first game?

  10. Proper-Pineapple-717

Pretty sure that’s kind of a staple for any ‘Life is Strange’ game.

    That’s kind of Life is Strange’s whole thing . . .

  12. I didn’t know it was the gay game. Now I know. Thanks Square Enix!

I mean, the game seems to have been targeted towards more of a teenage female audience. But that audiences entertainment has a large crossover with LGBT+ tropes as seen in shows like Riverdale so if you aren’t careful with the tropes being implemented it can be viewed as a “gay game” to outsiders.

…Im gonna be honest here, no-one choose’s the straight options in these games.

Well Life is Strange 2 was about 2 Latino boys fleeing from a prejudiced White America, getting in conflict with (somewhat hinted at) MAGA grandparents and working at a marihuana patch. All that was missing was an encounter with Bernie Sanders to make this “The Politically Left Game”.

  16. LEboueur

Where did the article author get the “critically-acclaimed” part?

    Wasn’t it just a meh game ?

  17. MinimumApricot365

Life is strange is the WOKEST shit, and I’m here for it. It will always be a gay game.

  18. Oculicious42

Well then they failed because when I played it I couldnt mention it to anyone without them going “isnt that that gay game?

  19. ShiningEnigma

Interesting. So the original Life is Strange isn’t a gay game? Many of us have avoided it going by that assumption.
