70 degrees is considered fine right.
I’m just worried about the long term dust and humidity exposure
Like others said, humidity and dust are concerns. Also insects. Of course all of this is dependent on where you live. I live in Florida so I would never do this.
Also, 70c is fine temps for a modern PC.
I don’t get how so many people are having overheating problems. I got a Cooler Master Hyper 212 for my CPU, and my PC never gets super hot even on intense AAA gaming (around 55-65 degrees, never reach 70). It’s super quiet too. Maybe not a lot of people are aware of this CPU cooler?
I wont worry about that temps. Also, its just a PC. You wont take your pc, your girlfriend or whatever you like in the grave bro. You wont need literally anything 😂

I live in Chicago and love gaming with the window open during the winter. Temps are super low even during AAA 4+ hour gaming sessions. Occasionaly the GPU fans don’t even kick on
I’m more concerned with it on top of a rug/carpet.
get it off the curtain for god sake you are decreasing airflow
Having it stand on a blanket will make your temps worse, if you put in your PSU correctly it draws air from there.
I would never do this with the amount of mosquitoes around me, but if it works it works

If you climate isn’t too humid this is fine.
The low temperature is because your GPU was stolen, and you’re running your onboard.

The biggest thing I’d be concerned about is condensation. As long as either the computer stays on and temps stay decent in and around the computer it should be fine.
I once forgot to leave the heat on in my house when I left for work and it got really chilly I had turned my computer off too so nothing was staying warm. As soon as I got home I fired up my computer then turn my heat back on. The next morning the computer was off and wouldn’t start up. Found condensation damage on it.
Luckily it didn’t take the main components. Just the motherboard that I figured but was sure. Ended up getting a used mobo and cpu (just in case) off a coworker.
Needless to say there is a reason most delivery drivers of very large electronics or manuals will tell you to let the electronic warm up in ambient air for a few hours if they’ve been cold for a long time before plugging it in and using it.
70c on the CPU or the GPU is both fine its not hitting the 90c or the 100c, to hit thermal limit it should be at least 100C, i my self dont like to have moist dirt sand and other things in my pc

if the temperature difference is too big then you’ll start to get condensation inside of the PC (depending on humidity)
but you should be fine, just pay close attention to see if water droplets start forming anywhere inside the case.
Well it is safer than packing bags of 711 ice around and on top of it…. (on another note Ive caught people trying to take my bags of cans so itd probably behoove me not to place pc next to the window)

I’d be concerned about humidity and dust from the outside that can, on the long term not be good for your machine.
Also 70ºc is fine on load btw.
