It’s always a great idea to have something like this sitting in your shelf for testing/troubleshooting purposes.

They stopped updating the drivers a while back but it should still be able to play quite a few games, especially if you dial back the settings and use a bit of FSR as needed. The main thing holding you back with that card is going to be the 3GB of VRAM as that is very low by modern gaming standards.

Am i the only one who still admires The old founders edition design?

It was a better deal to have a GTX 1060 6GB (188 watts) for 20 bucks. It is 6% more powerful than the 780Ti (313 watts) and use less electricity.

I hope you repaste the card at least. Maybe change out the thermal pads too while at it.

Nice, 780 was my third gpu ever. Great memories

My 780ti lasted 7 years and still ran things pretty well, the only issue was the 3GB VRAM and things like GTAV needing 4GB. You’ll be alright 🙂

Oooh nice I would like to have a 780TI to play with, they are still good cards for some 1080P gaming.
