I got a small hp case from the thrift store thinking there was nothing in it cause of how light it was, I saw there were ports which I thought was weird. when I opened it at home I found this and only this inside.. does it do anything??

Demo pcb. Probably a demonstration model in a physical store. In other words, it’s a dummy pcb, doesn’t do anything
PCB to chassis test template to see if the tooling is accurate for a populated PCB test run.
Honestly, this is actually pretty cool even if it serves no function.
