Pause the download and restart it, it works every time for me. I think its a battlenet thing since this happens to me with other games too.

This update must need to touch EVERY SINGLE FILE with the tender caress of a long-lost love. This last less-than-a-GB-of-the-update is taking forever. It’s DOING something, but it’s not clear that it’s doing it.

The last time I saw a download freeze like this it was because my hard drive was full.
Getting a new NVME drive and installing there solved two problems, low transfer rate to/from my drive and lack of space.

Found a Possible Fix , Go to Settings and Add the Language with smallest size( top right corner language)(idk the language sorry) and it should update properly

This isn’t really helpful in the immediate short term but, delete that shit battle net launcher and download COD on steam. This problem happens every update on battle net and steam downloads + installs it seamlessly every time.

I mean. I expect server performance the day of a big update. I have zero faith in them making accomodations for anticipated load, they never ever have.

This update full on crashed my console, just says installing but hasn’t even done a single gig after hours, can’t open any games or the store, can’t even uninstall cod to try and re-download the game, fucking goofcon level 5
