Long post, I think all is OK but do want other opinions. Probably never really paid attention to it until now.

I have noticed that the CPU has very short intervals of dropping from 5.7Ghz Pcore to 5.0Ghz. Ecores are unaffected. I tested this on barebone defaults (no PL1, PL2 limits, MCE on etc. etc. etc. with just XMP1) and it happens there too, so it shouldn't my undervolt (IA CEP disabled, confirmed higher score in CB, no clock stretching I'm quite sure, but same frequency fluctuations when it was set to auto).

When looking at HWiNFO CPU frequency graphs in-game during Chernobylite, you can see these small dips: https://i.imgur.com/tsH0o1k.png

Note that Pcore 4 and 5 (preferred cores for 6Ghz boost) only drop to 5.3Ghz sometimes, the rest to 5Ghz. Pcore 0 sometimes, very occasionally seems bored enough to drop to 800Mhz.

This is with ProcessLasso Bitsum Highest Performance profile, so minimum processor state is at 100% plus some extra bits being enforced for extra performance, no parking etc. 38% CPU load in Chernobylite with RTX on. It also happens without ProcessLasso W11 High Performance profile.

I wonder if this is just how this chip+OS combination works, being different from previous generations and just scales very dynamically with no loss of performance or if there's anything I can and should do.

BL3 runs into 140FPS Gsync limit whereas Chernobylite with RTX features on is more GPU bound and in the specific scene tested above and does not run into Gsync limit.

TL;DR theory: 14900K is absolutely bored when application is mostly GPU bound and CPU only needs to process a relatively small amount of frames per second.
