Got this per my wife's request for her bday. I know it's a laptop but it's a step in the right direction! She's building her steam wishlist and installing Horizon Forbidden West as we speak. Very excited to share this hobby with her. Big step up from Nintendo switch!

I’ve been thinking about a laptop also! Maybe something in the nitro series but I don’t know about hardware on most of em yet.

I know some people don’t like gaming laptops. Personally I game on a laptop and hope to someday have the space, money and time to get a proper desktop but laptops are neat. Most shortcomings of a laptop can be dealt with, a laptop stand might help with cooling and an external display might improve performance as they usually connect directly into the dGPU bypassing the iGPU entirley (unless the laptop has a mux switch but most don’t). But it all really depends on the model. Nice to see some laptop appriciation on this sub, enjoy!
I did this for my wife and she proceeded to use a brand new (at the time) Asus tuf a15 ryzen 4800h, RTX 2060, 2tb nvme, 32gb ram machine… *to play township*
