I think it’s more an overhated perk tbh, a lot of ppl don’t use it because they have a raging hate boner on gas plays for some reason

Are you getting plating in gas to work consistently? Ever since they patched being able to plate with all damage I don’t get it to work, and stopped using it.
There’s almost nothing here what you couldn’t do with a gasmask.
I run it on every loadout. If I get downed and gas gets to me, I want to be able to plate up and get back into the fight as soon as I catch up.
All that effort to play like pussies 😭
Yeah I’ve become such a piece of shit with this perk. I can’t even look at myself in the mirror.
For years I became okay with getting mostly second place finishes. Usually me against an entire squad.
Now I just turn and run into the gas. 2 stims plus a munitions box. A gas mask, pds, and a couple self revives…. I win so often now.

Irradiated was really OP when it lets you plate through *ANY* damage. Combined with quick fix u have super good survivability in gun fights. Now that it only lets you plate inside gas, I feel that it’s too niche. I can’t really give up mountaineer and fast hands for a perk that is not super impactful and only works in the last few moments of the game.
I’m a firm believer the only gas related item or perk in the game should be a BASE gas mask. The ENTIRE point of the storm is it’s something you *cannot* be in. It’s the literal core mechanic of the game. Map gets smaller, don’t be in gas or you die. In todays warzone you have the PDS, normal gas mask, durable gas mask, stims x2, muni to get 2x more stims in gas, irradiated, and you can use stores in the gas to reup on multiple of those items. What’s the fucking point of the gas if it’s easy to last literally 45+ seconds in the gas in the final few circles? I lost a ranked game the other day because the circle literally closed and I couldn’t find the last kid. He was 50 feet away in the cave using every possible gas saving item you can including 3x last stands. “Battle Royale,” sureeeeeee.
