Hello
So back in AUGUST 2023 I ordered a custom build system made to my order and I paid approx 1561 USD.
SPECS are:
Intel i5 13400f
BeQuiet PureRick 2FX CPU cooler
32 GB Corsair Furry Renegade DDR5 6400Mhz
MSI VENTUS GeForce 3060 12GB VRAM
Gigabyte B760 AOURUS ELITE AX motherboard
Crucial P5 Plus 2TB SSD
Corsair RM850e 850W PSU
Antec DP301M case
and 3x 120mm fan ANTEC Prism
Probably I overpaid a lot for it. What do you think?

would’ve sold a build like that for closer to half what you paid but so long as you’re happy with it ig
Last year i paid for 1800 to something similar to yours so its ok lol
For US commenters. EU and UK prices are a lot different to yours.
The last one I built with a similar price was a 14600KF, RX 6750XT, 32 GB RAM and two 2 TB SSDs. Sold that at £1250 with a year’s support.
Got a pc with ryzen 5 and rtx 3070 for 700€
So fitting name on tower
I’d place that front antenna in the back or dead center, Jaw’s anyone?
Well, the question here is – are you happy with it?
Like two years back I paid 1300 euros for a 3070… so don’t feel too bad.
Built my friends pc for £850 and sold him my rtx 3070ti
At least their website looks nice.
Nah, you want people roasting you?
Check out the espresso sub.
$700+ for a grinder for some one to come along and say nice starter grinder with their $5k + setups
If anything you need to be roasted for your spelling 😂
I built mine a 3060 ti with i5 13th gen for about £800 not including monitor a year and a bit ago (peak price for gpu’s). So yeah a bit over priced now when you can pick up a 3060 for around £250 new
Well better then my friend who paid $5,000 for an i7 12th gen and a 3070 ti pre built
Don’t know the pricing in your country, but in mine 1.2k € can fetch a prebuilt with 4060 and ryzen 7600x.
I can’t talk much shit cause I got my 3080ti for 1800 retail at microcenter during the pandemic/crypto boom
$1100 and change for an i7 with a 12gb 3060.
As far as I’m concerned, you got a good rig. Don’t worry about the financial grifting.
Could you have spent less? Yes. Do you still have a good rig? Yes.
You got fucked.
I paid $1600USD in October 2023 for a 7900X, ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming WiFi, Zotac RTX 4070 Twin Edge OC Spiderman Edition, 64gb G.Skill Flare DDR5-6000, 2tb WD Black SN850X, Corsair RM850, DeepCool LS720 SE AIO, white Montech AIR 903 Max.
I, for one, think the build is sick. So enjoy your system and do not worry so much.
I paid less than that for a 4070 super and 7700X
Yes many of us would have built this ourselves from PCPartPicker but I think you did OK.
That motherboard is really good, masses of power, all good parts and it shouldn’t be noisy.
Its got some future proofing as you could wait 4 or 5 years and cheaply upgrade the processor to an I7 and the graphics card to a newer generation.
But yeah Im a massive fan of that motherboard
I paid 800€ for my refurbished computer
We all make mistakes
Prices in Europe is a lot higher.
Here in Sweden a 1k GPU will run you like 1300-1600$.
You made a big OPSYS
Earlier this year I paid about the same for a 4070 build (not pre built) with a marginally worse Ryzen 5 7600 processor, 1tb Kingston SSD and 16GB Corsair vengeance ddr5 ram.
I could spend a little over £100 more to double that SSD to bring it up to what you have. You got ripped off.
Seems like you got shafted. Its well worth shopping around for parts and sniping good deals. My build is an rtx 4080/7800x3d/6000Mhz 32GB cl30 and paid £1500 altogether. I got my parts over the last few months however so it’s alot of work just finding those deals in the first place. Plus since you would have to get the parts separately using this method you would end up having to build it yourself which is where to saving comes in.
I bought a prebuilt off of Newegg with a 3070 and i7-11700k for $2500, but I’m in Canada and this was the height of the price craziness a few years ago. Don’t regret it at all though, been a great computer
Too much with that gpu. Should have been way less
Feel*
There roast done
Corsair Furry

You can get a 4070ti for £1100.
Upgrade the ssd psu ram and storage to better options from the same vendor, £1215 for a pc that competes with diy build options for £100 premium and a 3 year warranty
Go back to school 🤭
i don’t see a reason to roast you… as long as your happy with your purchase that’s all that matters tbh.
I bet you also buy premium air for your car’s tires
whats done is done, life is short. some people dont even have a rig. positive vibes!
Guys, if you are a uni student, you can most likely get 40% off for a lenovo prebuilt in Europe if you sign up for a student deals site called studentbeans. 3 of my friends bought a prebuilt woth i7-13700k with rtx 4070 for €1400.
As others have said the market in EU is abysmal so this is a really good deal here
More money than brains unless you financed it. In that case it’s just no brains
That case make it look worth 400$ .
I can’t really how good/bad the deal is since UK and US prices are so different. I don’t really know.
Hopefully you are happy with it.
I will say though, I kinda hate the look of the case for some reason.
💀
Spent £1000+ on a computer instead of learning grammar.
brother the LED remote is thicker than your mouse
I think you roasted yourself quite well with the title.
You definitely overpaid for it, but it’s okay – mistakes happen. Just take this as a learning experience and you’ll be fine.
Fuck the PC look at that mouse.
i was hoping this was gonna be a post about buying a pc back in covid but.. i guess not 💀
Even the case says it’s a oopsie 💀
No need to roast u, your system is already cooked
I paid about the same money for a 3070, i7 10700k and lianli o11 vision with lianli water cooler and 3 extra vents. And i live in fkn Hungary. That is overpriced af.
