For quite a few years now I have had a mega monitor setup of 7 monitors in portrait. Over time my setup has evolved but that's for another post maybe. I figured I would show what 3 NVidia Quadro RTX 5000s and an AMD 7950x can do. The gallery is a mix of my monitor platoons but the two shown are 7xHP 24ms and my newer 7xLenovo P27h-20s. Old resolution was 7560×1920 and newer resolution is 10080×2560. My station won't beat anyone in FPS but it certainly games with 60+ FPS in most games with higher settings enabled. 3DMark also gives the funny legendary achievement since the resolution is so high when benchmarked despite a relatively mediocre Time Spy score. NOTE: in person, the monitors are closely color matched and rotated so that there is no viewing angle color/brightness distortion, however in camera pictures, any viewing angle oddities or color mismatch is exaggerated, especially when not in the "chair zone/viewing arc". I could post in the future a fun rundown of the custom monitor mounting and setup build. Shown: Uncharted, AutoCAD, Neon Knights (ROBLOX), SnowRunner, ROBLOX Studio, YouTube, Mirror's Edge Catalyst.

Cool concept, but I know with how much little things bug me that I would never be able to handle seeing all those bezels choppin up my images

  2. Bro just bought workstation level Quadro GPUs and 7 whole monitors for freaking ROBLOX.

Wouldn’t 3×34” ultrawide or something similar be better for the eyes while giving similar coverage?

  4. stoyo889

Why not just get 3 ultrawides? The amount of screens and bezel lines here is atrocious for gaming..

    1. Bezels lol 2. Vertical viewing is much worse than horizontal. It changed the light direction and also colors look very different 3. Def couldve just got 2 or 3 cuvered monitors and wouldve achieve the same thing but better and probably cheaper

I would already get motion sickness and i like head bobbing 😵‍💫😵🙈

With those bezels, it would be a no for me. OP has plenty of use cases so that’s good, but for me, mostly gaming and movie, it would be a no.

Either you completely rich and dngf. Or completely nuts out of your mind. Either way 💯 LOVE the setup

I should try this with my 9 Dell U3014t monitors. (I use 8 of them in a 4 wide 2 tall configuration for work with one stored as a spare.)

I would never be able to enjoy anything displayed on those vertical screens. The bezels man. I would’ve gotten a large curved screen instead. To each their own I guess!

Thats awful. All those lines arnt a bother?!

  12. GameCyborg

finally enough space to read compiler errors

  13. The discrepancy in colour accuracy would bug me even more than the bezels.

  14. Intelligent-Box-5483

Those bezels are too much for me

  15. Yeah all those black bars from.the pc screens anoy the fk out of me

Why are you playing p*rn on the second slide?

There’s nvidia systems that allow you to bypass bezels when doing multiple display setups meshes. You should consider looking into it as a lot of your images are broken up due to bezels. You’ll lose some pixels but it honestly looks better than having the images jump wider due to the pixels not being right next to each other.

I thought I was a mad man with 5 panels for a total of 5400*1920 but clearly I have been beaten!

  19. Mr--Ganja

its cool and all but man i wont be able to play with those thick black lines in the middle

  20. ShadowFlarer

Isn’t better to buy that super ultrawide monitor instead of all of these? Although that monitor is fucking expensive, maybe your whole setup was leas pricy, it looks cool imo, playing racing games would be really cool.

Tbh it looks like shit and no one who seriously uses a computer would use this setup, even with a central monitor …portrait mode ? What you need 7 screens for web browsing ?

  22. digitalbladesreddit

What do you call that resolution? FullerHD ?

  23. equinox_games7

$2k of monitors but cant be bothered to activate windows… whether you pay for it or not

Takes me back to when AMD/ATi launched Eyefinity with the Radeon HD 5000 series.

Places like [H]ard|OCP, AnandTech and a few other forums at the time had several posts about users’ 5x portrait setup.

I think there were a few people that splurged on *dual* 5970s to get decent frame rates on such setups.

Still have people complaining about bezels to this day…

  25. I’ve got triples for racing and flight sim.
This is very nice. I loved my upgrade, hope this brings you joy.
I played a bit of horizon zero dawn and assassins creed on 3. It does fish eye (not sure how bad it would be at 10,080) but running down between two buildings and having the walls close in around you is awesome!

  26. Whydoyouwannaknowbro

These lines are worst than fentanyl.

  27. Pleasant_Gap

That one monitor on the left that isn’t color corrected…..
