Built my first pc two weeks ago. Took me about 3 hours and I had a lot of fun putting it together. I didn't realize how much I would enjoy the building process and now I want to do more. I want to make upgrades or do another build but I have no real reason to do either.

First of all, I hope you enjoy it. Second, grab yourself some custom extension cables and get yourself quieter disco lights. You’ll add to the overall look making it feel more personal.
You need to move your GPU to the top slot. That’s the only one on your board that runs at PCIe 4.0 x16.
Those other slots run at PCIe 3.0 x1, 1/32 the bandwidth and its through the chipset which is gonna increase latency. While you don’t really need a full x16 4.0 slot for that card, at 3.0 x1 it’ll be heavily bottlenecked by the slot.

Curious why you went with gen3 nvme drives when gen4 drives can be had at roughly the same price.

I get the addiction, I built my main PC two years ago and a smaller home cinem/retro emulation pc last year. I keep looking at building more with different budgets, the most fun part of owning a pc now is the building phase 😅

Did You move GPU to the to PCIe with Gen4x16 speed. You should have looked at manual! 🤣🤓

The cooler is so gigantic you can’t appreciate the design of the motherboard or your RAM.
I think the guy is trying to trigger this subreddit by installing the GPU there…
A bit overkill for your power draw. I would’ve used a 500-550W power supply unit.
Here is / Here’s. not He’s. Oh and move your GPU to the top pcie slot for maximum performance mate.
Missing a few screws in the motherboard there! Worth doing them all for neatness, strength and in some instances can reduce shorting issues
