The newest hero venture is an awesome big step in the right direction, and that’s all I can say for good things going on with OW2.
I don’t get the hate. I love playing Overwatch. It’s no less fun now than it was in 2017.
because really the game wasn’t good. i the whole concept of ultimate abilities in a shooting game really feels bad in practice. separating everything into heroes also hurt the genre, classes worked better. tf2 has more variety in 9 classes than overwatch has in its whole cast
Arguably it was ruined by the tryhard fans. This happens to almost every competitive game. At first it’s so much fun. Then only the tryhards remain and complain.
Saying they killed a game, you mean the game is dead, right?
And that just is not true. During last 30 days, it had 23,315,464 players.
There are many changes between OW and OW2, that I do not like, but also there are many good changes.
Just because you do not like the game, does not mean that the game is dead. So stop presenting that as a sort of “fact”.

I find it funny how the average gamer says OW2 killed the franchise and they miss OW1 when everyone moved on after 2 years, if Blizzard kept loot boxes and 6v6 and kept updating with new heroes and maps you all would have still dipped a long time ago.
At least we’ll always have the porn.
I remember early on playing Overwatch, and I literally thought to myself “I can’t believe I ***GET*** to play this”. It felt like an actual passion project with great production value and atmosphere.
And then they just… squandered it. All we got was new cosmetics to push microtransactions. Actual content was few and far between.
