How to solder heat plate back to heat sink?

I have a spare heat sink lying around and I was curious about its assembly. Accidentally pried too hard and the base plate came off. Anyone know what the bonding material is and if I can solder it back with a butane blow torch?

    Given that this has an internal transfer medium/compound, I don’t think soldering this back together is gonna be all that easy. You might be able to replace whatever is in it with a carbon based compound, but if there are large flat soldered areas you would need some pretty beefy equipment

    This is a vapor chamber. A sealed system for heat transfer with a gas/liquid inside, and yours is broken. You could try adding a copper sheet with thermal paste/adhesive, but performance will be worse, this thing is pretty much done for.

    Edit: I thought it was, but at further inspection it might just be thermal adhesive l. Clean it of and use new adhesive to stick it back on, should work, but it’s probably not worth it

    Even if you can solder it it wont have exact same specifications and tolerances so it would be most lilely not usefull or putting too much or too little pressure where it isnt supposed to. In short get used part online if u need same cooler.

    Buy a new one if it’s a good GPU, buy a dead GPU if it’s a bad one I guess

    I wouldn’t invest any time or effort in these opened ones
