sniper cyberdeck and Sandevestan knife.
i would say Sandevestan is a lot more fun because it’s so much more aggressive. plus stuff like stealth it makes so much easier. throws knifes at cameras, move very fast, knock people out in no time and more.

if you could be like an actual full fledged netrunner in this game instead of just a quick hack spammer i think id play a netrunner more. you should be able to hack computers and steal data for all the gigs through the cameras like a real netrunner would and wouldn’t even have to step inside the building to zero them all(or not at all) and get what you need. although i understand that would make the game too easy but to be fair the game is already way easy once you get to higher levels

I’m doing a sandevistan for my next (4th) playthrough because I always have a cyberdeck because of how useful it is.
I can make like 4 elite enemies go cyberpsycho. Car races are too easy when you can use a cyberdeck on opponents’ cars. Making things explode, especially through camera control.

i’m going netrunner/cyberdeck on my next play through, using the apogee sandavistan on my current (1st) playthrough.
at first i was using time slow mainly for katana, but it’s amazing for guns too unless the weapon has charge time

I honestly prefer a cyberdeck due to usually going with netrunning builds, but I think a Sandy can be just as useful, albeit in different situations.

I haven’t tried cyberdeck out but sandevistan appeals to me a lot more. Slowing time and plugging holes in enemies’ heads solves every single mission in the game, and I like doing that a million times.

But, for gameplay and for fun, Sandy is the go… Going for a Sandevistan run is way more challenging, fun and rewarding.
I did my CP2077 first run doing a cyberdeck/stealth build and it was good. But I thought it lacked something… I’m now doing a Sandy+Stealth+(guns blazing when things go wrong) and its way more fun

Sandevistan is mostly a defensive tool. Enemies don’t move much or at all, so you take little to no damage. But if you were killing a boss in 20 katana hits, it’s not going to massively change that number really (assuming you’ve already hit the crit chance cap with cyberware).
Cyberdeck on the other hand lets you run multiple damage over time effects, deal direct damage, AND disable, WHILE you are using the katana as well if you feel like it. When it comes to time-to-kill, Cyberdeck is superior, imo.

Im y play through I combined a deck and kerenzikov. In this situation you were in I could have click on overclock blew up every car which may have killed everyone on it’s own of not would have knocked everyone down then activate kerenzikov and probably made 2? Shots with the statara and cleaned. I personally like a deck build better just because I find all the hacking mechanics fun and original to this game (at least in the gamesnive played).

Cyberdeck is fucking broken dude. And it never stopped being fun either. The idea that all you need is a line of sight to a camera and you can ice everyone in a building was crazy. Really made me feel like I was a big deal lol

It’s not a mainline offensive class anymore. But it is useful. Turning off cameras and distracting enemies.
But a sandy is more fun. Used to be even more fun when you could keep it running indefinitely. If I had access to mods that’s a mod I’d use. That’s how it should work. Instead of short duration it should be tied to a heat mechanic. Gain too much heat and your ware starts shutting down.

Been on my first play through only using Berserk. Haven’t even used a cyber deck yet. Lol. Looking forward to it in my next play through.

I prefer Sandy. Though the cyberdeck is nice, its ultimately pretty damn overpowered. As a power fantasy its awesome, but after a while I tended to play the game like a shooter. After that, the cyberdeck became another piece of equipment to take care of and level up, which kinda became a little bothersome. Especially changing up the combat/stealth quickhacks between missions became a hassle, so after a while my playstyle became “legalize cyberpsychosis”.
And bullet time + insane weapons will always be cooler than a “click to kill”, even though it is great fun to explode the heads of some poor gonks by just looking at them
