Appearance wise yeah.. but atmosphere no. also WaW zombies had glue like hands where if you get hit once you cant move for a second or two. which makes it hella risky to move around mid rounds.

You’d have a better argument if you actually used screenshots of the zombies in-game, not concept art that does not represent the final product whatsoever.

Zombies design wise absolutely. Atmosphere wise absolutely not

I swear you guys are actually insane if you think WAW has an “atmosphere” yeah the shitty graphics and poor sound design really give it an atmosphere of dated.

Scary is inherently subjective. To me, this concept art specifically, is just typical over designed nonsense. It strays too far to be scary and just becomes absurd.

Dude those mimic looking things scare the hell out of me in WW2. One second im chilling. Then the map goes foggy and im being chased by a xenomorph through a submarine bay
Soviet-_-Neko
They were designed by the people who worked at Dead Space, so it’s clear they’d be scary
Damocles875
nothing beats the horror of completing the WAW campaign late at night to be greeted with that bone chilling intro then just thrown straight into it
