my experience with safely removing G Skill Trident Z Royal heat sinks:

3M Specialty Adhesive Remover 38984, Transparent, Solvent Based, Easy Residue Removal, 1 quart
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0054S5OOU/

i soaked (completely submerged) for 90 minutes @ approximately 45 degree fahrenheit (outside/open air). i used latex gloves and needed to apply force , please be careful.

95% Ethyl Alcohol (and/or rubbing alcohol) did not breakdown the epoxy in my experience.

im annoyed by the number of "guides" on how-to remove DDR4 RAM heat sinks. All guides were either lacking specific product details or used a heat gun. i hope someone finds my writeup to be helpful.
