I have been gaming since I was little like many of you. I'm now around 30 and I got the hemeroids.
You do not want them, nobody does. It's like your ass is an inferno of itchiness almost constantly and it spikes at bedtime so you lose a ton of sleep.
The only way to get rid of them is exercise and apply ass cream/ass losanges atleast 3 times per day.
So how do we avoid them? Excersize. Yeah I know another post telling me to go touch grass but it's the truth. You have to or you are gonna have atleast month of excruciating discomfort and pain.
Anyway, how is everyone's bowels doing and how long until we get a new Soul Reaver?
Edit:
EAT FIBER EVERY DAY (e.g. baked potatoes , good bran cereal, leafy greens like lettuce and kale)
Standing desks are also a great solution.

I don’t think the main factor for most people who are dealing with this is gaming but having a 40hr week desk job. But yeah exercise is something to consider in any case.
Buy a switch, buy a treadmill. Play said switch well using the treadmill….watch the pounds come off and health problems go away.
Shitting 4 to 6 times a day, ass on fire anyways
I wish ass cream was a 100% brother. Some need to go the needle injection route
Don’t forget pilonidal cysts, those are pretty rough too.
Stop pushing when you poop
I thought this guy is warning me because he’s gonna coming for me or something
But it turns out he told me to look after my ass in a literal sense
Idk man ive never had them, and ive gamed quite a bit admittedly. Maybe im just lucky
Yes exercise, moving and eating healthy is good not only for hemoroids, but for overall health.
Neither excercise or diet alone work for me. I have to do both. Some chi gung in the am and a short walk about twice a day.
Also, stay hydrated.
I’m 38 and I take Metamucil everyday and it solved so many abdominal problems for me
Live in a walkable city and cycle or walk to everyday errands
Bro was speaking literally
Just ate 2 baked potatoes 😁. Great advice overall though.
Nobody wants to hear it, but get yo ass in the gym mon-thursday before work. You can do it! Doesn’t matter what your work out is, just get to the gym and that’ll improve over time. you have your evenings and weekends to have fun 🙂
i eat flamin hot cheetos i know how it feels for my ass to be an inferno.
Working out made my wrist pain go away. Also probably keeps my back from aching.
“Ass losange” is new to my ears.
Wait until you’re like hmm… is this red toilet from the hemorrhoids or colon cancer.. better go get a colonoscopy. Spoiler: it was the hemorrhoids luckily.
Diverticulitis is another reason to eat healthy and exercise. Along with the feeling that I was shitting a softball covered in fire ants I felt like I was being stabbed in the abdomen repeatedly for several days. Untreated it can lead to major health issues like sepsis and maybe a lifetime of shitting into a colostomy bag. You want to carry around a bag of your shit?
I’ve had hemeroid issues for roughly 15 years, and I don’t remember them ever being itchy. 🤔
I’ve used a metal folding chair for gaming since the 90’s.
I had one a few months ago, and it’s NOT because of long time sitting on a gaming session, it’s because of the food I am eating. my doctor told me it was because I keep eating a lot of spicy foods but not much fiber (spinach, potatoes, etc) and too little water.
other than that, op is right. I wont even hope for this kind of pain to my enemies, it is bad, really really bad.
Do you have a handheld shower head with different spray options? Use the message option, the one that is like a power spray on your butthole every time you shower.
Seriously.. it will help. It might burn at first, but it will get better.
Exercise, eat fiber, and don’t strain when pooping. Your asshole will thank you later.
Yes… to this.
Except your recommendation of how to get fiber. Cereal is terrible for you in almost all cases… unless you’re just eating bran cereal, which is cheap and effective I suppose…. but Baked potatoes are not high in fiber.
Choose a pear, some avocado… some oats (oatmeal), brussel sprouts, kidney beans, split peas, chickpeas, etc.
I also got hemorrhoids a couple years ago… wasn’t fun.
