Cinnabar Island, item slot 6! Still one of my
favourite glitches! What was yours?

Making TMs like Ice Beam have an unlimited source with that glitch was so wonderful. New generations have gotten me used to infinite or farmable methods of getting any moves you want. Every time I go back to those old ones, it’s the worst lol. I dunno how we did it as kids, but those awful movepools combined with limited TMs make for some real frustration.

I taught my missingno fly. Then evolved it with a rare candy. It became a Kangaskhan with fly.

  3. In Pokémon it was getting Mew to spawn by doing some stuff by Nugget Bridge.

Otherwise I was all about the super jumping in Halo 2

Cloning pokemon by depositing them in your PC, then turning off the game before the “do not turn off” message.

  5. banapopy

Skyrim potion stacking and accessing NPC box inventories

Man I got anxiety seeing this post, that thing always unsettled me for some reason

I remember a glitch you did in safari zone. You had to go left, right, left, right between 2 pillars. I dont remember how many times. Then you saved game and restarted it mid save or something. When you got back in, the entire game would be weird. Like cave entrances, half mountains, trees.

The guy who showed me this when I was in Germany that summer claimed you could find the starters in that weird zone. I never did!

Zelda games always had my favorite glitches like Infinite Sword Glitch (Oot/MM), Fierce Deity anywhere (MM), Infinite Bomb Arrows (TP). I also liked the Broken Dagger Glitch in Dark Cloud.

Btw Rivals of Aether has a great Workshop Character Missingno on Steam, I suggest looking it up if you love the Glitch.

You don’t even have to fly to cinnabar, you can do that at any tile that looks like that and it works

This thing destroyed our families red version

  11. I still find it amazing that these glitches became known around the world By little kids with no internet

There was also a glitch in red and blue that allowed you to catch any Pokémon including Mew. I forget the steps but it involves encountering a trainer on the gold nugget bridge.

Combos in Street Fighter 2. They were originally glitches but left in because Capcom didn’t think people were skilled enough to do them consistently.

Not my favourite, but I remember the first time I broke out of bounds on GTA3 and fell through endless blue screen until I landed back on the ground which did some health damage. It was in the corner of one of the subways, good times 😂

Halo 2 butterflies and super jumps/bounces. You would jam yourself into a corner than jump on a part where the mesh kinda cracked and it would just launch you.

  16. Tripdrakony

PKMN Emerald duping items and pkmn with the help of the pc.

Bouncing in cod4 is one of the best gaming feelings ive ever had. I wonder if cod jumper still uploads

This will forever be my favourite glitch, nothing will ever come close to it.
Why? Because I was like 8yr old when I played Pokemon Red and all this shit spread around the globe without the internet.

How did people find these glitches out?

  20. Cheeezeh

The black hole glitch in super smash bros melee was always epic to pull off.

I loved glitching out of the maps on old school mode in call of duty 4.
