TL;DR I moved my OAKO DENMARK desk, wire connection of the leg broke and without question OAKO DENMARK was kind, and immediately sent a replacement wire, free of charge.
So it has been a while since I posted but I wanted to make an appreciation post for the company that made my desk, OAKO DENMARK.
It’s been an incredible Solid Oak desk. I chose Mahogany as I’m more fond of dark/warm wood colors. It’s been absolutely amazing.
Only something happened, I moved it aside to get behind it and a leg got stuck, turned and sliced the wire connection clean off. Luckily they have a modular system and you can take the wire out easily, but still it didn’t feel nice. I’s a €1000+ desk after all. I can repair the wire myself but that might turn out to be a hazard and I live in a (mostly) wooden house now, so I wanted to shoot my shot with the company.
I messaged them with what happened and they were so kind and positive, sent me a replacement wire free of charge immediately without any hassle or questions! It doesn’t cost them much but it’s just the ease of the transaction.
I really like the customer service and in a move that already takes a lot of stress, they relieved me of the stress related to the (for now) broken leg. It’ll take max. 5 days for the wire to arrive so I can easily install it again. I’m so happy.
About the setup;
Any tips on what to do? I’ll take away the stuff out of the window but the wires to the wall plug worry me.
Any suggestions? I have never had a FULL ROOM dedicated to my office. I’m so happy 🥹
