  1. Grey Zone and Delta force look the most promising imo. Any extraction games I missed?

  2. Yea the first game is definitely going to ve to slow and hardcore to keep a healthy playerbase longer then 3 months especially its on one system. They would have to update alot and have more to offer than tarkov

  3. Glad GZW is going with limited Hud and NO teammate markers. That madness hurt The Cycle because it just gives squads a buff on top of the advantage they already naturally have via numbers. By having no markers it gives squads a pro and a con to being in a big number just like Tarkov. Trios in TCF were easily stomping Solos b/c they knew where each other were at all times while also being able to 3d mark the solo. There was no disadvantage to squading up and there needs to be one.

  4. >"Extraction shooters are exploding"
    >lists 3 no-name dead-on-arrival games and 2 BR spinoffs that'll go the same way as DMZ
    >Casually forgets to mention "upcoming" sponsorships with two of the games (is it upcoming if you're already advertising for them?)
Stod, you had a good run til now. It's a damned shame you're going the shady route.

  5. I hope delta force works. For me, it seems to be the most balanced between immersion, fun and level of difficulty. Being a free game, cheaters and pay to win items might become a big problem.

  6. I mean, tarkov doesn't take ages to learn and the latest wipe made it even more beginner friendly.
Also straight up, if you can't get into tarkov, you aren't getting into Grey Zone. Delta force on the other hand is just Tencent Bf2042. It's just another chinese mimic game using an old IP to try and grab attention. Unfortunately just mimicing bad systems from failed games beforehand.
As for the Division, I was actually invited to be an interal tester for that back in its inital development when it didn't even have a name yet. It looked like a barebones attempt at trying their hand at reviving that old darkzone gameplay for Division 1 but worse and it visually looks worse too. Ubisoft is stupid, they had their chance and they blew it. They had the golden goose and they let it wither and die in the back of the farm while trying to chase after what Destiny already had in the bag. Now they try to come back almost a decade later trying to revive it now that the "Extraction genre" is a growing trend.

The only games that look genuinely good, are Arc Raiders and Marathon.

  7. Arc Raiders is going to be the cream of the crop. But this footage isn't a good representation of what it currently is (PvPvE extraction shooter). The alpha trailer from this past June or the trailer Nexon released in November would be more appropriate.

  8. I wish I could be at all interested in The Finals devs' new endeavor, but man..I've never experienced a game go from extremely fun to zero fun because of AA/SBMM like The Finals did.

Honestly most interested in the Delta Force game

  9. I’m excited for Heartland as Division 1 is still one of the all time greatest Phoenix From The Flames stories in gaming history but they need to limit the loadout customisation as Darkzone was basically impossible for anyone who didn’t spend 12 hours a day playing because you could build characters that either gave or took so much damage that they literally became unbeatable. Either they had such insane DPS that you died the second they looked at you or such incredible health/healing that you could literally three man mag dump them and barely even dent their health.

  10. Extracion shooter is basically a sure way of making your game irrelevant. Tarkov is the only game that is even remotely played.

  11. Did 7,000 hours on the Division, got bored with the same bugs in N°2 and refused to buy DLC's.
Looking forward to trying this new version.

  12. Unfortunately none of these games excite me.
CoD almost nailed it with DMZ and it’s a shame that the Devs didn’t even understand what they’d created.

  13. Activision just fucking sucks for 3rd modes. if they aren't planning on supporting it with constant, meaningful and large content for an entire gamecycle, maybe they should just fucking stop concentrating on 3rd modes. DMZ lived barely for a year and MWZ (in which DMZ was the blueprint of so they already have a strong template on gameplay mechanics) is already dead before S2 even arrived.

I wish they gave DMZ a chance as it was fun after the sweats were gone.

  14. DMZ is the best thing that happened in the last years, and Activision is too stupid to see it/care for it

  15. Gray Zone = Bore Zone. It's just a better looking EFT. You can play Arma Reforger now cross play on console and it looks and runs great.

    Delta and Division, meh, maybe.

Arc Raiders…. This is the one!

PUBG – It's still pubg aka, run away from the zone simulator

  16. There not exploding at all there's like 4 extraction shooters that exist 😂 what the fook are you talking about.
