So I’ve recently been dealing with what I think is a RAM issue. My computer suddenly freezes and crashes to the BSOD. I ran memtest86 and it failed, and since then every time I start/restart the computer I see this loading screen with this anime character on it? I haven’t updated anything besides the frequent windows updates, and I’ve never seen this screen before. I have an ROG STRIX Z-790A Gaming WiFi motherboard.

Bios: advanced mode -> tool -> asus ez flash 3 utility -> choose your background scene
That image originates from your motherboard. Either you changed a setting in BIOS which enabled it or a recent update pulled it in.
It could be an error on the side of Asus, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a regional thing exclusive to China they accidentially pushed to the wrong market via updates.
