Since you went HAM, you should have also channeled the top front fan into one of the two runs as it is now rendered basically useless. It would be cool to see this concept with the H6.

So the only thing left “needing” cooling is the mobo. Maybe add some walls to the CPU duct to deflect air from the top front fan towards the inside of the case/mobo?

I love it! Reminds me of OEM’s that had a CPU duct to vent via the PSU exhaust (Gateway had them during the P3 days).
If I had a 3D printer, I would have tried making a duct for my old 990FX VRM’s, those suckers ran in the 90c range under load!

Something to consider is that if you restrict the airflow path of fans too much you can end up causing them to just throw air every which way instead of in the direction that they should.
I had a 50W Delta fan from a HP server that I was going to mod into a air duster but even with a really long tapered nozzle the fan wouldn’t actually push air through the constriction and instead just created a whole lot of turbulence.
That said, if you are bored and have access to the full suite of Autodesk products you could actually model the airflow in your system using CFD. You should even be able to calculate the cooling potential of the air flow over the VRMs and other passively cooled components when taking into account the heat pushed into the system via the passthrough fan on the GPU.

If you really want to min-max airflow, then depending on the material of the printed parts, consider acetone smoothing.

make the top front and front top fans got 2-to-1 into the cpu cooler. the rear two fans will exhaust things fine without the front top fan acting as a cold intake. because each component has individual intakes, the ambient temp really doesn’t matter as it’s air is never passing through either of them.

All that work and “engineering” to just ignore the existence of RAM or the power modules on the actual motherboard. You know the stuff that fans also happen to push air atop in a normal usecase.

I feel like the big CPU duct is blocking the hot exhaust from the GPU from escaping.

Doesnt the “front” fan on the actual gpu blow down so it’d be somewhat be fighting the extra fan if on? I definitely love the idea of ducts.

I think u actually block exhaust from GPU by CPU Cooler and that plastic duct – air always goes easiest way, so from bottom to top
