Dragon dogmas 2 hate is blown way out of proportion it’s fine to get mad about how poorly the game runs but they already said they’re working on better CPU optimization. As for the microtransactions they were in the first one and no one made a sound about that. Not to mention everything is obtainable within an hour or so of gameplay and the microtransactions don’t affect how long it takes to get said item or currency. Basically if they excluded the microtransactions no one would care but because they’re entirely optional it somehow means it’s bad.
Edit: by hour or so I mean first hour of gameplay

Steam seems to be granting discretionary refunds even to those above two hours in Dragons Dogma 2. Game literally became unplayable on my wife’s comp when she hit the first city. Steam just credited the amount to her wallet so she could pick out something else. We just asked for store credit, but might be worth a shot if anyone is looking to get their money back. (For context, she was BARELY above the two hours. 2.7 total playtime, but a solid hour of that was fucking with settings so they seem to be giving some leeway.)

I think it’s the fact Dragons Dogma 2 needs a super computer processor to get good performance on top of the bizarre dystopian in game micro transactions… Other than that it’s a really awesome game lol

Played Horizon FW for a couple hours last night and my only complaint is that DLSS + FG isn’t multiplying my fps, which I don’t really care honestly. All settings maxed out with DLAA in 1440p I get over 110 fps (which is enough imo) compared to 135fps with DLSS Quality + FG (I’m guessing there’s a bug disabling FG here)
Also, colors didn’t looked as vibrant as I expected on my OLED monitor, might have to tweak some settings.
Fun game so far.

I regnet buying dd2 instead of forbidden West. The game just crashes every time I start it up. I can still return it but im gonna wait a bit because an rpg game like this is just what i like to play. Maybe its a good game burried under those bad Management decisions.
