Honestly if enough of us boycott dragon’s dogma 2 it will set a precedent for it to not happen again. #boycottDD2 if we spread it all through social media we actually have a pretty good shot of making a difference!

The only real issue with Dragon’s Dogma is performance. People are just now noticing the same type of microtransactions Capcom has been doing since 2008 and not looking further to see that nothing in the game is locked behind a paywall and the game in no way incentivizes you to buy anything.
This should be especially apparent since there was no discourse with any previous Monster Hunter game, Devil May Cry 5, and especially Resident Evil 4 Remake where you can buy ammo with real money.
A game that costs 70 bucks should be free of microtransactions.

I was about ready to buy this game. The first reviews to hit were pretty positive, but then I started reading about the frame rate issues and that made me put off any purchases. Now this game went from first day buy to pick it up on sale, maybe.

It’s funny seeing people angry about shit that capcom always does like it’s something new. They always put easy ways for people to “cheat” in the game why is it different now? The only real argument against this game is the performance. And I’m sure as hell most of those 5k people didn’t even play the game they just jumped on the wagon because they were seeing everybody does.

The first horizons pc port was really good. Doesn’t hurt to launch with two years worth of optimization and bug fixes either.
